To sharpen my writing skills
I consider myself to be an above average writer, but I want to learn to write well. This is going to take a whole lot of time, practice, patience and discipline. I don’t do much writing in my job as an engineering manager and I no longer have to write business school papers, so I need a forum to practice my writing. I’m choosing to use this blog as an outlet to express myself and develop my writing skills. I’ve had a little trouble getting started, but luckily there are some amazing resources available to give me guidance and some much needed reassurance.
To share my learning experiences and exchange ideas with other beginning digital marketers and bloggers
The learning curve is steep when you are starting out and there are a million different ways to learn about SEO, web analytics, social media, blogging, etc. My goal is to share the resources that I’m using and discover the methods you have chosen to teach yourself about digital marketing.
Knowledge is power? These days that old adage should be changed to sharing knowledge is power. So I invite you to follow what I’m doing and chime in with your suggestions, thoughts, questions, etc. Who knows what we might learn from each other.
